Quiet, Efficient Pool Equipment Upgrade with Pentair Pool Equipment
One of our clients recently contacted us because their pool pump had become very loud during operation, which is often a sign of bearing failure inside the motor. The noise had become disruptive, and they wanted a quieter and more reliable solution for their pool system.
After evaluating the equipment, we recommended replacing the older pump with a Pentair SuperFlo Variable Speed Pump, along with upgrading the filter system. The existing filter required the use of diatomaceous earth (DE) powder, which can create a messy cleanup process during filter maintenance.
To simplify maintenance and improve performance, we installed a Pentair Clean & Clear cartridge filter. This type of filter eliminates the need for DE powder while still providing excellent filtration and water clarity.
Once the installation was complete, the difference was immediately noticeable. The homeowner was pleased to find that the new variable speed pump runs so quietly it is barely noticeable, while also providing efficient water circulation. They were equally happy that the new cartridge filter would eliminate the white powder residue often associated with DE filters.
